My beliefs
The problem:
The world is dying. Strip-mines, child slavery, artificial colors in our cupcakes, extractive agriculture, talking heads.
And everyone has an answer. More sex positivity. More sexual purity. More science. More prayer.
And meanwhile we watch the color get sucked out of the world, food prices rise, our favorite trees cut down. Our world is falling apart in front of us, getting crazier by the day.
And it feels hopeless.
The Answer:
get more real.
#1: Being real changes everything.
I’ve learned that being real about what is happening is the medicine that changes a person and reality for the better. That means stopping, being with what comes up, and making space to let the God of Reality change things.
#2: god is reality
There is an objective reality, and God is that reality. When we align ourselves with the God of Reality, miracles can happen.
#3: We are made up of parts
We are made up of parts, these parts can be closer to and further away from the God of Reality, and by being with both the intention and impact of those parts, we bring them back to grace, essence, and reality. This belief is called polynousism (from the Greek, for many minds).
How it works:
realing cycles
Each part of the self, as I mentioned, is closer to or further away from God/essence or reality. By being with that part as it is, acknowledging both intention and impact, and holding the belief that there in nothing wrong with that part, we invite that part home through the different stages of dissociation from grace, known as the realing cycles. Here’s what those looks like:
The Layers:
Grace
Integration/dis-integration
Raw emotion
Raw Story
Hard Story
Identity
beliefs
dissociation
The How:
“Okay!” You say. “i want to get more real, so does everyone, duh! We are starved for realness. But how do I make it Happen?”
Let’s talk about intention and impact.
masculine feminine
challenge vs care.
